The second inauguration of Barack Obama as the President of the United States was the perfect place for photobombing. This term is becoming more and more popular on the internet as photobombing can result in very hilarious photos.
Unexpectedly dropping in a photo, with the sole purpose of spoiling it, is called photobombing and despite being mostly used when it is appropriate, a serious ceremony like the second inauguration of Barack Obama as the President of the United States was full of such events, courtesy of famous people, including former US President, Bill Clinton.
Boring ceremony turned into humorous event
“Let’s get this party started” appears to be said by Chuck Schumer, a Senator from New York, who made a funny face while Barack Obama was swearing-in the oath at the United States Capitol building. A million people then witnessed the Senator’s photobombing skills during the performance of popular singer, Beyoncé.
Bill Clinton is a very popular figure on the internet, especially when it has something to do with the ladies. We are not going to dwelve into the subject, but the former President of the United States was spotted photobombing Kelly Clarkson, the first winner of the American Idol contest.
Photobombing the President
Although it was his party, Barack Obama did not escape photobombing’s shackles. The one who decided to show impressive photobombing skills was no other one than the President’s brother-in-law, Craig Robinson, who appeared to be very surprised by something.
iPhoneography is becoming an art as iPhone users can take advantage of the smartphone’s powerful camera. However, one of the things that everybody hopes it will not catch on is called iPadography. A person in a red fedora decided to take a photo of the President using his iPad in front of a million people, while millions more were watching the event live on TV.
To cap it all off, comes the greatest photobomb in history as Obama’s daughter, Malia, leaned in front of her sister’s attempt to take a decent photo of her parents’ romantic kiss. As Sasha was photographing the presidential kiss on Inauguration Day, Malia was thinking about photobombing it. The result is hilarious, just like the reaction of the First Lady.
