Casio Europe has announced a new compact camera, called EX-ZS30, with a 20.1-megapixel CCD image sensor.
The new Casio Exilim EX-ZS30 has been officially introduced as a “stylish” compact camera with 20.1 megapixels. It consists of a stainless steel body, which should give photographers a better feeling while shooting, considering the absence of cheap plastic.
Casio Exilim EX-ZS30 compact camera features
Casio’s new camera features a CCD image sensor and a wide-angle 26mm lens with 6x optical zoom. The company says that the shooter is very easy to use, even by beginner photographers.
The Premium Auto function is the main reason for the camera’s ease-of-use. This tool will automatically analyze the conditions and will adjust the settings, in order to make sure that photographers will always take the best shots.
Casio added that photographers will only have to press the shutter button and the Exilim EX-ZS30 compact shooter will do the rest, even in difficult conditions. The camera is said to take good photos in most situations, including low-light conditions, when backlighting is too strong, or when taking portrait shots.
The Casio Exilim EX-ZS30 can also be adjusted to take landscape and macro photos. Other controls include buttons for viewing and deleting photos.
Casio’s EX-ZS30 also features a 2.7-inch TFT LCD screen and 720p HD video recording capabilities.
Creative effects in the body of a “stylish” camera
An Art Shot option is available in the new Exilim camera. It allows photographers to choose from eight different effects, which are said to give a more artistic look to the final photos. The effects include Toy Camera, Sepia, Fish Eye, Soft Focus, Miniature, Light Tone, Monochrome, and Pop.
Casio’s Exilim EX-ZS30 spec sheet is completed with eights presets of Dynamic Photos. It combines moving characters with still photos, improving the artistic capabilities of the photographers.
The company announced that the EX-ZS30 will become available this March in five flavors, including Black, Pink, Purple, Silver, and White. The pricing has yet to be revealed, though Casio said more details will be announced in the coming weeks.
