Fujifilm XF 55-200mm F3.5-4.8 R LM OIS lens rumored to be announced on April 17
Most of the details are scarce, but an insider has confirmed that the XF 55-200mm lens will feature optical image stabilization technology, allowing photographers to capture the perfect shots even with shaky hands and when they are not using a tripod.
The full name of the product will be Fujifilm XF 55-200mm F3.5-4.8 R LM OIS, suggesting that the lens will provide a maximum aperture of 3.5 at 55mm focal length and 4.8 at 200 focal length.
This Fujinon lens will be powered by a pair of linear motors, which can offer an autofocus speed of just 0.28 seconds. Sources speculate that it will be a major attraction point for X-mount camera owners, as the lens will also provide 4.5-stop image stabilization support.
