The first Leica Mini M image has been leaked on the web along with the APS-C image sensor camera’s specifications list and price information.
Leica has recently begun teasing a new cameras that sits nicely between the M and Micro M shooters. It is codenamed Mini M and it should be officially announced on June 11 during a special event.

Additionally, the rumor mill has got a hold of the camera type. According to inside sources, the camera will be a mirrorless one with an APS-C image sensor and a fixed zoom lens.

The confirmation has unofficially come just hours ago, as an image and specs list of the Leica Mini M have been leaked online. The features are in French, but photography is a universal language, therefore it is clear that the camera will feature a 16.1-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor.
The Leica Mini M specs will also include a brand new Leica Elmar 28-70mm f/3.5-6.4 zoom lens, full HD video recording, and a hot shoe mount with support for an external electronic viewfinder.
Adobe will partner with Leica, therefore all buyers will receive a copy of Lightroom with their purchase.

In the photo we can see the “iconic” look of Leica shooters, which includes a lot of aluminum for a more solid feel and robust design. Now that the specs and model confirmations have arrived, sources have started looking for the device’s price.
The Leica Mini M price will be €2,450 in Europe, sources say. It remains to be seen when the camera comes to the United States and how much is it going to cost.
Anyway, the price is in line with Leica’s website tease. The Mini M is placed between the M and the Micro M. According to the leaks, it is cheaper than the M and more expensive than the X2, which is available for $1,846.19 at Amazon.
