The first Fujifilm X200 rumor has surfaced online just as more X-E2 and XQ1 photos and specs have been leaked ahead of the cameras’ announcement.
Fujifilm has replaced the X100 at the beginning of 2013 with the X100S. It is a compact camera with a fixed 23mm f/2 lens. It has attracted a lot of praises from consumers overall thanks to the high quality of its 16.3-megapixel X-Trans CMOS II sensor.
Fujifilm X200 to replace X100S in 2014
It appears that X100S will not have such a long life, as first expected, as the camera is rumored to be replaced by the X200 in early 2014. The compact camera is said to be based on a similar fixed-lens design with a hybrid viewfinder, in-body image stabilization, and an autofocus speed “better” than that of the RX1.
The Fujifilm X200 will be introduced in the first part of 2014 and the company’s fans might get another surprise. The sensor of the X100S successor might be a full frame one, source says. However, you should take this with a pinch of salt as there is still a long way to go until then.

Beside the X200 revelation, people familiar with the matter have acquired more photos of the X-E2 and XQ1, two cameras which will be announced on October 18. The images come alongside some “speed” details.
The Fujifilm X-E2 is said to feature a 0.08-second AF speed, 0.5-second boot time and shooting intervals, and a 0.05 shutter lag.
On the other hand, the XQ1 will focus in 0.06-second, boot in 0.99-second, shoot in 0.3-second between intervals, and a offer a 0.015-second shutter lag.
