Fujifilm will announce a new entry-level mirrorless camera in the form of the X-A10, whose specifications, photos and price details have been leaked by none other than BestBuy.
The next digital imaging announcement will consist of the Fujifilm X-A10, a lower-end mirrorless camera that will become official within the next few weeks.
Prior to its unveiling, the shooter has been listed on one of USA’s biggest consumer electronics retailer: BestBuy. As a result, the specs and price information are now available online along with its photos. Since this is BestBuy we are talking about, we know that the leaks are real, so here is what to expect from the device!
BestBuy leaks Fujifilm X-A10 mirrorless camera ahead of its time
The Fujifilm X-A10 specs list begins with a 16.3-megapixel APS-C-sized image sensor offering a maximum ISO sensitivity of 25,600. There is no 4K video recording support, but the sensor handles full HD videos at up to 30fps.
Photographers using this mirrorless camera will be able to capture up to 6fps in continuous shooting mode for up to 100 consecutive shots. Transferring files to a mobile device will not be a problem as the X-A10 is packing built-in WiFi.
On the back, there is a 3-inch tilting screen along with the menu buttons. The camera does not have an integrated viewfinder, therefore the display will have to do. Thanks to WiFi connectivity, you can also use a mobile device to remotely control the Fujifilm X-A10.
Fuji has also added an electronic shutter in its upcoming shooter, which captures photos at speeds of up to 1/32000s. For low-light shooting, you can use a pop-up flash and autofocus assist light, both built-into the camera.
Fuji X-A10 to be sold alongside 16-50mm zoom lens
Fujifilm will sell the camera bundled with an XC 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OIS II lens. This zoom optic is pretty much standard and it does not seem like the X-A10 will be available as a body-only version.
Speaking of market availability, the camera might become available by the end of the year. When it does, the zoom lens kit will be priced at $499.95. BestBuy only listed the black and silver version, but there is a strong chance that it will be sold in black-only and other colors, too.
On the top, users will find multiple dials and buttons, while on the side they will find the HDMI and USB 2.0 connectivity ports. Well, now all we have to do is to wait for the official announcement, that is coming soon, so stay tuned!
